I've had these photos sitting on my hard drive for a long while waiting for me to do something with them. But the longer I waited the more photos I collected, and the bigger the project became. And the bigger the project became, the more I put it off...
I'm not going to pretend these are high quality photos - most were grabbed from people selling postcards on eBay! But they're fun to look at, especially if you compare them to the pictures of modern Ashland in your mind. Since many of these were postcards, they're black & white photos that have been hand-tinted at the time of publication for lack of more realistic methods (i.e. Polaroid, Nikon, etc.)
If you're looking for high quality stuff worth documenting, the Southern Oregon Historical Society is a bit more serious about this sort of stuff than I am!
