Portions of The Aptly Named Chester Smith Saxophone Quartet perform each summer with the award winning marching band from Ashland, Oregon's Fourth of July Parade. In 1996 (pictured above) Derek, Ko, & Shawn marched; in 1997 Derek, Shawn, & Jesse had the honor of recieving 1st place with the band (which seems to win only every other year so as not to discourage other entries).
